Turkey leaves behind 9 EU member countries in minimum wage.

Out of 27 EU member countries, 20 of them implement minimum wages.

Minimum wage in Turkey was higher than those in 9 EU member countries.

Out of 27 EU member countries, 20 of them implement minimum wages.

While the minimum wage in Bulgaria was 148 euros in July, the minimum wage in Luxembourg was 1,801 euros.

According to Eurostat, the EU's statistics body, the minimum wage in Turkey was 412 euros and, with such a figure, Turkey left behind 9 EU member countries and Croatia, which will join the union in 2013.
