In the normal world, people trust the other party when making a contract. In the past, Turkey was a place where you could make a hand shake deal with confidence. There are still some people who count on handshake deals, while there are other people who even trust a written agreement. But what would you do if that written and trusted agreement is a trap in itself?
For instance, the current tapu scam issue shaking the construction industry in the Turkish Riviera. The local chambers and authorities seem reluctant to put more pressure on this matter. I have read news reports that police have arrested several people in tapu scams.

The event, included on the calendar of the International Cycling Union (ICU), was not merely a sports event but also worked like a tourism envoy, with its route featuring Turkey’s historic and natural beauties, starting from Ýstanbul and ending in the famous holiday resort town of Alanya in southern Turkey. In addition to the Presidential Tour, Turkey has also been hosting another internationally prestigious cycling event, the European Road Bike Championship.

One of the upcoming projects is a golf court near Gazipasa.
Two UK and two Irish investors combined forces and invested 100 million euros in a golf court to be built close to Gazipasa.
The plan is to attract new kinds of tourism to Alanya and Gazipasa. A golf court in the area is bound to be a successful investment as at present the nearest golf courts are hours away in Belek.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday was presented by the World Health Organization with an award for his contributions to struggle against smoking at a global scale.
"This award is going to add a fresh momentum and excitement to our fight against smoking. And it would boost support for the anti-smoking ban. Turkey is no more a country that goes with the saying 'Smokes like Turk'," Erdogan told a ceremony where he was presented with WHO Director-General Special Recognition Awards in tobacco control.

On Monday 12th of July, Gazipasa Alanya airport begins its first domestic commercial flights to and from Istanbul Sabiha Gocken airport with Borajet airline.
Flights to and from Alanya-Gazipasa Airport and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport are running Monday to Friday with Borajet Airlines with seats available for sale from 105 Turkish Lira.
